Anti-Islamic film protesters torch cinemas in Pakistan

A cinema in flames as it comes under attack by demonstrators in the Pakistani city of Peshawar on Friday.<br/> <br />But this angry mob's taken to the streets with the government's blessing.<br/> <br />Pakistan's government, wary of widespread frustration over its failure to provide basic services, declared Friday a day of protest over the US-made film.<br/> <br />In the city of Muzaffarabad, capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, over ten thousand people joined the protest, some burning an effigy of U.S. President Barack Obama.<br/> <br />They are protesting a low budget film that portrays the Prophet Mohammad engaged in crude and offensive behaviour.
