French senate passes 'Armenian genocide' bill

The French Parliament has passed a bill that makes it a crime to deny the mass killings of Armenians during the Ottoman empire was genocide.<br /><br />Turkey has called the move "irresponsible" and has threatened to permanantly cut ties with France.
