President Assad's political adviser speaks to Al Jazeera

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has addressed his nation, pledging more reforms and again blaming "armed gangs" and religious extremists for stirring unrest.<br />Al Jazeera speaks to Bouthaina Shaaban, who is minister and political adviser to Assad.<br />She says the president has delivered on previous reform pledges and that his reform agenda is based on "what the Syrian people want".
