Gurkhas allowed to settle in Britain - 22 May 09

Thousands of Nepalese soldiers who fought as part of the British Army will now be allowed to settle in the country they fought for. <br /><br />The Gurkhas have served in the British military for nearly 200 years but those who retired before 1997 have not been allowed to apply for British residency. <br /><br />Al Jazeeras Alan Fisher reports on their fight to stay in Britain.
