Yemeni activist and Nobel Peace Prize LaureateTawakul Karman visits a refugee camp in Turkey.<br/> <br />Around 15,000 Syrians now live in camps in Turkey.<br/> <br />Karman, an Islamist journalist and rights campaigner, has been dubbed the "Mother of the Revolution."<br/> <br />A mother of three and a prominent member of the Islamist opposition party, she was a key figure in the early days of the uprising against Yemen's Ali Abdullah Saleh last year.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) NOBEL PEACE WINNER TAWAKUL KARMAN SAYING:<br/> <br />"They are thinking for freedom and dignity. I am with them, all Arab world, all people of the world are with them. They will get their freedom soon. Bashar Assad will leave Syria. Syria will be free soon."<br/> <br />Karman is the first Arab woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize and at 33 she is the youngest Nobel Peace Laureate.<br/> <br />Over the past few weeks, the number of Syrians crossing into Turkey has increased dramatically with as many as 300 coming into Turkey every day.<br/> <br />The UN says more than 8,000 people have been killed in Syria since the start of the uprising began a year ago.<br/> <br />Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters
