The artist, Claudia Mumedy, is a graduate of Utah State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She majored in painting and drawing with a minor in illustration. Her paintings reflect a love of nature and the organic world derived from her life in Alaska, northern Utah and the red cliff regions of southern Utah.<br />With a degree in fine arts she is accomplished in a number of media including oils, silk screen and engraving but focuses her attention specifically on transparent ink, acrylic ink, water color, gouache, and textural media.<br />Her works are currently displayed in a number of public buildings in Salt Lake City, Atlanta and the Las Vegas area.
