LE CYGNE NOIR , a Film directed by Danny Miller and Sandra Benbaruk . <br /><br />LE GYGNE NOIR pays homage to the drama and progressiveness of 20th century Russian Ballet. A somber theme which challenges the death and destruction in the news with a reminder that there is beauty to be found. A sea of Black interrupted by the Beauty of Snow. A surreal lighting mastered by Monsieur Miller in a quivering cloud of black feathers. Snow is pure like a lotus flower—symbol of grace and rebirth, respectively—in equal measure and in addition to not so-virginal Ballerina .Each outfit created a character so individual that the clothes truly held their own melancholy and romance against the majestic backdrop. <br /><br />Snow moves gently and silently like an elegant swan dropped from heaven, teaching us in our own process of educating others and educating ourselves, that we need gentleness. - Sandra Benbaruk
