Chip Hanauer is considered the best hydroplane racer in the world. He has won the American Power Boat Association (APBA) Gold Cup a record 12 times, and is the driver of one of the most famous boats in APBA history. Today, Chip Hanauer travels at a much slower speed on Puget Sound in his sailboat.
