John Oliver at Lakeshore Theater

John Oliver is a British comedian and correspondent on The Daily Show on Comedy Central. In 2008, Oliver got his first hour-long stand-up special on the network. John Oliver: Terrifying Times premiered on April 20, 2008. <br /><br />In addition to his stand-up comedy and Daily Show duties, Oliver also appeared in the 2008 Mike Myers comedy film The Love Guru. <br /><br />Oliver frequently collaborates with fellow comedian Andy Zaltzman. Together, the pair have written and performed several comedy programs for BBC Radio 4, including The Department and Political Animal. <br /><br />Oliver is performing at Lakeshore Theater in Chicago August 22nd at 7:20 and 10:30pm.
