Eloy — Eloy 1971 (Germany, Krautrock-Space-Psychedelic Rock)

A German progressive rock band formed in Hanover in 1969. The band's name is taken from H.G. Wells' science fiction novel "The Time Machine," where "Eloi" is the name of a race of people in the distant future. The band was founded by guitarist Frank Bornemann, who has been the only constant member since its inception. Early in their career, Eloy played heavy rock, initially influenced by British bands such as Deep Purple and Uriah Heep, and then increasingly adopting the influence of Pink Floyd, which would later become the hallmark of Eloy's sound. In 1970, the band released their first single, and in 1971, Eloy released their debut self-titled album, characterized by a psychedelic sound and socially charged lyrics.

Tracks:

01.
