Shipping boss pushes for new Bridport channel entrance to stop his ship running aground

A Northern Tasmanian shipping boss has renewed his calls for a new entrance to be created for Bridport’s commercial port, after his vessel ran aground with 400 cattle on board. The state government committed funds to the project three years ago, but it's failed to progress, and some are questioning whether there's a simpler solution.
