Interior Ministry Forum Revisits Barrier Lake Disaster Prevention, Response

Interior Minister Liu Shyh-fang told attendees at an international forum in Taipei that Taiwan needs to improve cross-departmental collaboration during natural disasters. Liu referred to the recent barrier lake disasters in eastern Taiwan, which left 19 people dead.
