Lavanya suicide case: Big setback to TN govt as SC upholds HC’s order to transfer probe to CBI

Replying to a plea filed by the Tamil Nadu DGP challenging the Madras High Court order for a CBI probe, the Supreme Court directed the state government to hand over all the evidence in the Thanjavur girl’s suicide case to the CBI.
