Some U.S. states to end mask mandates including in schools

On average COVID-19 cases are dropping in the U.S. as we push past the omicron peak. Some of the dozen or so states with mask mandates are updating their policies as soon as Wednesday while others are already committing to ending mask mandates for schools.
