Ex Kent Police officer calls for tougher punishments for officer assaults

Former Canterbury officer Ashley Clark is calling for extended sentences after figures revealed more than 1,000 Kent Police officers were assaulted while on duty last year.<br /><br />The worrying statistics put Kent as the third worst offenders in the country.
