Warmer weather and heavy rain leading to longer mosquito season

Experts in the Northeast say this is one of the worst mosquito seasons they’ve seen on record. A mild fall along with rainfall have led to mosquitoes remaining longer, increasing the risk for mosquito-borne illnesses like the West Nile virus.
