Blue House calls on N. Korea to suspend activities raising military tension on Korean Peninsula

Seoul says North Korea's test-fire violates the military agreement signed between the two Koreas in Pyeongyang last September,... and called on the North's regime to suspend activities that escalate military tensions on the Peninsula.<br />This came during a Blue House emergency meeting,... chaired by national security advisor Chung Eui-yong,... and attended by National Intelligence Service chief Suh Hoon, and Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo.<br />A Blue House official said South Korea will continue to coordinate closely with the U.S., as well as other neighboring countries to monitor the situation.<br />The presidential office also called for efforts to resume denuclearization talks,... which has hit an impasse in recent months. <br />
