An artist in his own right, releasing records on Tribal in the 90’s as part of his seminal K-Scope project, Eric was also Frankie Knuckles right hand man, playing keys and co-producing on a number of classics. He has also played a major part in working with Roisin Murphy on various projects over the years. Meanwhile Kenny Summit has started to forge a path in house music with his prolific new take on the soulful New York sound. The combination of these two results in ‘Over Here’, a release that simultaneously takes us back to a moment in the 90’s, reminiscent of the seminal Strictly Rhythm output amongst others, yet retains a modern production that makes it sit suitably amongst its contemporary counterparts.
