Mumbai's Jain community on meat ban and religion

Just months after the Maharashtra government banned possession, transportation and consumption of beef in the state, sale of meat has also been prohibited in Mumbai, though just for four days, for the Jain community’s upcoming ‘Paryushan’ fasting period, sparking a controversy.
