A royal visit to County Durham..The Prince of Wales has been in the region today greeting members of the public and carrying out some royal duties

Prince Charles unveiled a plaque in memory of his ancestor Dame Elizabeth Bowes at St Johns College. He also attended a concert at the Cathedral which was held in honour of Sir Hubert Parry before greeting the public on Palace Green. <br />
