Students at a New Jersey high school stage walkout after a teacher’s racist rant [Mic Archives]

Last week, a recording surfaced of a teacher telling students, “the military men and women that are fighting for you are not fighting for your right to speak spanish, they’re fighting for your right to speak american.” Students at Cliffside Park High School staged a walkout Monday to protest.
