Pakistan fighter conduct price sorties over Indian air bases\r \r August 1965: Pakistan launches Operation Gibratlar - armed infiltrators enter India to sabotage and incite rebellion in Kashmir. India captures infiltration routes.\r \r Sept 1st 1965: Pakistan launches Operation Grand Slam to invade Kashmir. India under intense pressure in Chhamb sector\r \r Sept 6th 1965: India opens other fronts, especially an attack towards Lahore to take pressure off Kashmir front. \r \r Sept 22nd- end of war\r \r The images are from a tattered old booklet I have preserved from 1965.
