Fun fact: Each day, Eastman pumps an average of 420 million gallons of water from the Holston River to support production at its Kingsport site.<br /><br />Data point: The health of the river, as it passes through Kingsport, Tenn., has improved dramatically. At Riverfront Park, in 1965 there were only 3 species of fish living in the river.
