Drone Footage Shows Sperm Whales Stranded on Australian Beach

<p>Seven sperm whales were found dead on December 8 on beaches near the town of Ardrossan in South Australia after they got into difficulty during a low tide. According to <a class="link" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/national/ardrossan-locals-fear-whale-stench-will-scare-away-tourists-and-their-dollars/story-fnii5yv7-1227151881687" target="_blank">the Advertiser</a>, the local council decided on December 10 to have the carcasses removed in the “interests of public safety and health.” This video, recorded on December 9, shows an aerial view of six of the carcasses on Parara Beach.</p><p>Music credit: Josh Woodward / She Lost Her Wings Credit: YouTube/ccrailway</p>
