Policemen purchases a stove for a poverty stricken family - with their own money!

So nice to see police doing good in their communities <br /> <br />Officers Rivas & Castro, from Central Division, deliver an electric stove to a poverty stricken family in Barrio Logan. They met the family during their patrol duties and saw them living in poor conditions. The family barely had a working stove. Officers spent their own money and bought a <br />stove for the family. <br /> <br />Officer Rivas invited the family to a community Thanksgiving dinner coordinated by him and church groups. He is also working with different groups to improve the families living conditions.
