Belgium: two firefighters lose their lives to save a swan

Two firefighters have died after attempting to save a swan in the River Ourthe, in the southern Belgian region of Walloon.<br /><br />The first man got into difficulty due to the strong currents, having dived in to release the swan. The second man put himself in danger trying to rescue his colleague.
