Uncontrolled Bushfires Threaten New South Wales

<p>Several bushfires threatened a large area of New South Wales, Australia, on October 17, destroying homes and leaving residential areas without power. Nearly 100 wildfires burned their way across Lithgow, as seen in this footage. The RFS (Rural Fire Service) have stated that they expect some fires to burn for a number of weeks.
